Does any one know the filming location where Jon and Vince where dropped off right before they met the motorcycle gang? Looks like a deserted industrial street in NYC.
This scene was shot in the area just north of west 125th St. in Mnahattan …a location often used in films and rap music videos …only someone from the west coast would use it as a location, because its so played-out. However, I do respect the director a lot Favraeau.
As for “only someone from the west coast” using this as a location…
Jon Favreau is from NY. Peter Billingsley, a co-producer who specifically talks on the DVD about getting many of the locations, is also originally from Manhattan.
